On 28th July Bullet finally came home!
After a short but nervous wait at Heathrow we were reunited on home soil.
It was a wonderful moment when Bullet greeted me with great excitement.  He settled back at home as though he had never been away!
My thanks to Liz Cartledge and her team at Ruislip Kennels, Rick Day and Gary Renegar in Atlanta and Jennifer Schmidt in Stockholm for their help, support and care of Bullet

February 2009
Bullet should have been home on 12 February 2009
but after another disaster, where his blood test was sent to the wrong laboratory in the USA
he had to spend ANOTHER 6 months either in quarantine or exiled from the UK.
My MP, Andrew Selous, made strenuous efforts to get Bullet home but despite
2 vaccinations and 4 blood tests, the Secretary of State would not allow him home until he served his 'time'.
Bullet's case was brought up in the Houses of Parliament in June.  The current inflexibility of the
Pet Passport Scheme together with the harsh penalty of 7 months quarantine are of concern particularly as nearly 5,000
animals annually are refused entry to the UK travelling on an EU Passport.
We now, nervously await Bullet's return on 28 July 2009, 13 months after he left the UK for
a 9 days trip to the World Show in Stockholm.

And for 2008 .....
After an enormously successful World Show in Stockholm proudly representing the UK we had a
disasterous return to the UK.  DEFRA would not allow Bullet, despite being fully vaccinated and successfully blood tested,
to come back home without a 7 month enforced stay in quarantine.
I decided to send him to Rick Day in the USA to serve his time.  Rick showed Bullet at a few shows before
I went to the USA in August to show him myself.  At my first show Bullet took
Group 3 and gained his American title in three weekends
After returning home Rick showed Bullet to
Group 4 in Chattanooga
His final show in the US was on the Florida Circuit where he took BOB beating the
Eukanuba Classic 2008 breed winner
